Word-Wise

Wordwise is a vocabulary building game. Students must guess the mystery word and call it out. The teacher slowly gives the students more 'hints' by showing additional letters. It can sometimes be noisy but it is always fun.

Word-wise is an easy-to-edit PowerPoint file consisting of a cover sheet, instructions, some examples and a master sheet.

Square It

Players take it in turns to choose on any of the given dots. The first player makes the chosen dots red and the second player or computer makes the chosen dots green. The winner is the first to have four dots of their colour that can be joined by straight lines to form a square. Squares can be any size and can be tilted. Is there a winning strategy?
